This is a fun way to practice some basic math facts! First, decide which function to practice- addition or multiplication- and a set of numerals to work with- 1 through 9 for younger children and larger numerals for older children. Write the numbers on small adhesive labels and place them on each section of the beach ball. Now, you’re ready to play and practice some important skills!Stand facing your child and throw the ball to them. They must say the number that their right thumb lands on and then throw it back to you. You will then call out the number that your right thumb lands on and then throw it back to your child. They must add or multiply the two numbers and call out the answer before throwing the ball again. Learning can be fun!
