I chose this little girl for a mentor because she was extremely quiet, shy and displayed low self esteem. The adult mentor for her is a loving, kind, chatty woman, who gives her LOTS of love and affirmation. I have watched this little girl blossom under this mentoring friendship. She talks and laughs and truly loves her mentor. The changes have carried over to the classroom where she is becoming a more outgoing and confident learner. I am most appreciative of the Kids Hope program in every way, but this is an outstanding example of the love at work!!”
